Simple Green Pea Soup Recipe

A simple green pea soup is one of the quickest and yummiest ways to get your pea fix. This comforting meal makes a great lunch or dinner recipe for a chilly day, and packs plenty of nutritional benefits.

Our method

  1. Melt the butter in a pan before adding the diced onions. Cook until they have softened.
  2. Refer to pack cooking instructions to cook the peas. Add the peas with the 500ml of vegetable stock.
  3. Bring to the boil and leave to simmer for 3 minutes before mixing in a liquidiser until you have a smooth mixture.
  4. Add a dash of cream and blend it in.
  5. Season your green pea soup to taste and enjoy.

Tip!

  • To make this soup extra indulgent, add a swirl of fresh cream and serve with a warmed bread roll.
