Why is protein so important?Protein is one of the body’s main building blocks – it’s crucial that we all eat enough of it to stay healthy. It’s a multi-tasking marvel, with several important roles including muscle growth and maintenance, supporting healthy bones, and repairing muscles (we wouldn’t get far without them…). How much protein we need is different for each person, depending on things like age and weight, but what’s certain is that we all need some!
