High Fibre Meals and Sources of Fibre

February is the UK's Action on Fibre month.

Did you know that fibre is just as important as the other food groups in maintaining good overall health and is particularly important in supporting digestive health? Despite this, currently only 9% of adults eat the recommended 30g of fibre daily.

Many of your Birds Eye favourites are a source of fibre, or even provide a rich source of fibre, so look out for logos signposting this on our product pages. We have some new FIBRE BOOST recipes that your whole family will enjoy, and also have recommended just a small number of changes to some of our existing recipes to boost them to provide at least 25% of your daily recommended fibre intake per portion!

At Birds Eye we are committed to help 'close the gap' between the UK dietary recommendation and how much fibre the nation is actually eating. Find out more about fibre here
