This heart-warming vegetarian sausage casserole is comfort food at its best. Our recipe calls for root vegetables but feel free to adapt and swap with whatever veg youmight like, such as beans, mushrooms or peppers.

Ingredients

Carrots

Parsnips

 vegetable gravy granules

chopped leaves of 
fresh sage 

Our method

  1. Chop up the carrots, parsnips, swede and onions into chunks
  2. Cook your Green Cuisine Meat-Free Sausages as per instructions on pack
  3. Add the fresh sage to the pot
  4. Boil the vegetables in just enough water to cover them 
  5. Thicken the casserole with vegetarian gravy granules
  6. Take out the sausages, slice in a thick diagonal shape and add to the casserole
  7. Give a quick stir and enjoy
