Rated 3 out of 5 by from needs more rice I have brought this curry more than once, the taste is nice but there is not enough rice for a proper dinner and you need to add more rice which puts the price up which I find a bit too high in the first place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but small portion Didnt expect much from this curry, but it actually tasted really nice and was easy to make by just heating up in a wok, only downside is its a very small portion as a meal, only suitable for a snack unless you are happy to eat small portions

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for money Just had my third Indian curry from Bird's Eye in the last couple of months, it cannot be beaten as a great standby meal from the freezer. Very tasty, easy to do, an all round winner. I just need to try the other meals in this range.

South Indian Chicken Curry

There are evenings during the week when you just fancy something a bit more special. That's why we created Birds Eye Inspirations; a collection of mouth-watering dishes made with only the freshest, finest ingredients. We've partnered succulent chicken and basmati rice with flavoursome spices and a spark of chilli in a creamy yogurt and coconut sauce. After all, the weekend is in sight - you deserve a bit of a treat.

Preparation

Tastiest when PAN COOKED STRAIGHT FROM THE FREEZER.

Pan Cook - From Frozen

  • Empty the contents of the bag into a wok or non-stick pan [approx. 24cm diameter].
  • Add 2-3 tablespoons of water and heat on a high setting until the sauce starts to melt.
  • Simmer gently on a low to medium heat, for 6 - 8 mins, stirring regularly until most of the sauce has been absorbed and the chicken is cooked through 
  • Serve and enjoy!

Please ensure food is cooked until piping hot. These instructions are guidelines only. Do NOT refreeze after defrosting.



Storage Instructions

Store in a freezer at -18°C or cooler.
