The food you need, when you need it
We take it for granted that we can eat tasty, nutritious vegetables such as peas and spinach all year round – but this is only possible through freezing our food. To enjoy fresh vegetables during the winter, when they’re not able to grow, we either need to transport them all the way from one climate to another, or freeze them.
When fresh food travels a long distance, not only are the chances of food waste are much higher, but the food itself is more expensive and will deteriorate faster in your fridge. By freezing your vegetables, we’re able to lock in that freshness, taste and nutrition and charge you less.
